Cad Sä Oy will launch a new SFS 6002 Electrical Pass training course in August, specifically designed for electrical installation work related to ships and shipyards. The training responds to the needs of many of our clients, offering practical and site-specific electrical safety instruction that takes into account the unique conditions of the maritime environment. 
 

The content of the training is based on the SFS 6002 standard, but it has been tailored particularly for shipbuilding and maintenance. The focus is on work tasks carried out inside ships, in metallic structures and confined spaces where safety is critical. The Electrical Pass provides participants with the knowledge to work safely in both planning and execution. 
 

The training has been developed in cooperation with Finnish shipyards and Tulityö Teppo Suominen Oy. Teppo Suominen coordinates the training sessions and ensures smooth delivery and continuous development based on participant feedback.

Training Format 

The training is delivered as an online webinar in the evenings, starting at 4:30 PM. Sessions are held on the third Thursday of each month, allowing participation even after a regular workday. Registration is simple via email or an online form.

The training is intended for electricians, supervisors, and other electrical professionals who work or will work on ships or at shipyards. Subcontractors and personnel involved in project-based assignments will also benefit greatly from this course.
